I installed this system, but upgraded to 14 gauge wire. It's awesome. Our dog ran away on a regular basis and rolled in dead things or excrement. I put this fence in 2 months ago, did some training, and smell of death/poo has not returned. The dog seems to understand the boundaries, and enjoys playing inside her confined zone. Excellent!I used a flat edge shovel to bury the cable. Not for the faint of heart.
