I am using this product to save my wood fence that my dog was attacking due to some annoying little yapper dogs next door

I installed my first electric fence six years ago. The collars of that first set failed after 5 years and were no longer produced. I had to buy the next model that would work with my original transmitter. These collars went yhrough the batteries in a quarter of the time and then started shocking my dogs even though they were not near the fence, just sitting by my side. , yes the same mfg of this set, replaced these collars without question, but when the new replacements did the same thing I had enough. This model of collar is poorly designed, IMO. I purchased this kit for the cost of two if those collars. I was able to use the fence I already had and installed this transmitter in a matter of minutes. The new collars have worked without issue since. Time will tell if they will last as long as the original, which I still would rate highly.The only reason I stayed with the brand is because they have always stood behind thier products, they just produced a bad model and I was not going to keep replacing collars only to have my dogs shocked errently again. It took a lot for me to install the fence originally but quickly realized how much safer my dogs were once installed and the dogs were trained....

My Jack Russell doesn't even need the fence now that he has learned his boundries! He will react to the buzz buzz sound if we make it and will move away from the area. Compared to installing a fence to keep him in, this is a great price!
