I have enjoyed training with this collar. It has multiple functions, tone, vibrate, and static. I primarily use tone and vibrate with my 65 lb GSD, and 45 LB boxer mix. The boxer has a serious other dog reactivity so, I had to use the static on her to break her focus on the other dog and come to me. The battery life is pretty good. I haven't worked it for several hours ay once, but over several short bursts of several days, the battery is still full on both. I feel this is a great tool for training recall. I don't recommend it to just "punish" your dog. It is for reinforcing commands your dogs know to give you better control.
