We have tried 2 other collars. One with a remote, not good because not constant so dog is confused.Another that was not effective. This one works well with very easy to see and change settings. We have lived with her waking us up over a squirrel and everything or everyone she sees move. She learned quickly on low setting.

I recently adopted an 11 year old dog and I was told the previous owner used a bark collar on him. This dog DOES bark a lot--when left alone, when out in the yard, in the car while driving, etc. Some of it was anxiety, which is much better now, but a lot of it is excitement which is fine, but not in your ear. It's been tough to train him because he has a lot of hearing loss. So I got this collar and set it for it's loudest setting for the beep and for vibration--I don't need the shock setting at all! It works like a charm! Since he obviously had previous experience with a bark collar, he knows when this goes on to limit the barking or whining. He can usually get out one bark or low whine and then he stops. He's learning to do all kinds of fun stuff with us now as long as he limits his barking. It's a win win for all of us. It holds it's charge QUITE a long time--we camped for 5 days and he wore it during the days--had plenty of charge left when we got home. It's easy to figure out the settings and the display is clear and easy to read. Easy to charge--just make sure you use the cord that comes with it, it's a little different (longer plug) than a typical micro usb. The only negative I've found is that when he does a big head shake (he's got long floppy ears) I can hear it go off. But since I've only got it set for vibration and tone, that's ok. It will also go off if he's wearing it when sticking his head out window--the sensors are getting pretty windblown--at about 55 mph--makes sense. It's not very frequent either. I would DEFINITELY recommend this, especially using only vibration/tone. :)

The collars came quickly. We have had them a week. They are easy to program. They fit our 12-pound dogs. THEY ARE UNBELIEVABLY EFFECTIVE!!!!! Our terrier mix and our Chihuahua were starting to bark so much at other dogs during walks that we didn't enjoy walking them anymore. We tried a human dog trainer, a sonic trainer, a squirt bottle, bitter apple spray, water balloons, a gentle leader, yelling, pleading, ignoring. A friend suggested we get bark collars. I purchased the Awaiymi Bark Collar 2 Pack Upgraded 7 Sensitivity Rechargeable Dog Barking Collars preparing to be disappointed. The first walk was tough. Vibration alone was not effective. Halfway through, we switched to the second lowest shock setting. The dogs got shocked quite a few times on the way home and we felt bad. The second day was better. The terrier cowered quite a bit when we put on the collars. On the walk, they each got one shock from barking before they both figured out somehow that they could whine but not bark at other dogs to avoid a shock. The third day was better still. We had no barking, no whining, no shocking. We praised them every time they calmly passed another dog. On the fourth and fifth days, they totally ignored other dogs and we gave them a treat every time they passed a dog with no incident. On the sixth day we turned the shock off and walked with no incident-praising every good encounter. We are frankly amazed. Hope you have the same results.

My 2 years old Bella thinks she own the street and no one is allowed to pass by our house not even neighbors dogs are allowed outside lol, it was a big problem for us especially in the summer time where all the fur babies and their parents are often outside, she would bark non stop any time of the day, it was driving us and everyone around us crazy, i said let me try this product give it a try, let me tell u, sometimes if my screen door is open I cannot tell if Bella is inside or outside, it’s a miracle, the instructions says to put it on the dog for at least 12 hours a day which we did, now sometimes I forget to put it on her she still wouldn’t bark, maybe once or twice throughout the entire day, which is not bad at the end of the day it’s ok for her to bark just to let it out she needs to be herself, but nothing like before she actually got used to it and she doesn’t mind wearing it, give it a try u will love this product, I have our setting on vibrate it’s gentle it beeps first then vibrates,

I like this one, rechargeable with a light to tell you when it's dead or charged,I've had other ones that you had to change the batteries and you don't know it's dead and they are the pricey watch type. I also like that this one gives a warning vibration,he has learned what that means and we don't hear him yelp from being shocked like the other ones. I don't really like the collar, it's just a piece of plastic with holes. which mean it doesn't loosen up, which is good.but you have to hope it's not one hole too tight or next hole too loose. All in all, it's a good value though and we like it.
