I have a Bischon/Maltese mix, who is a barker whenever he goes outdoors. I've tried many interventions to little avail. I've used a collar with a remote but I was only able to activate it after my dog barked. If I was fast enough to press the remote it did stop the barking. However, the corrections were very inconsistent as sometimes I was distracted and did not notice that my pup had gone out the doggie door. I purchased this collar and am pleasantly surprised how well it is working to stop nuisance barking. My dog responded to it immediately as he's startled by the beep.I trust he will continue to respond to the correction. I like that the collar is lightweight, so my dog can wear it during the day without any problem. It is sturdy and easy to activate and a real plus is it is rechargeable. I use the beep and vibration and am glad I don't have to use the shock function to quiet my dog.

I have a very annoying barking GSD and i wanted a device that would automatically correct his barking without me having to use a remote. So I bought this.At first, I read the instructions, and it said to test the device by "barking" into the device using your voice. It never worked. But I strapped it onto my dog nonetheless. My dog's barking SOMETIMES triggered this device, and it was never consistent. So I got in touch with the seller and they recommended sending me a different product, I assumed a remote shock collar, which I did not want because it meant I had to manually trigger the device every time my dog barked. I wanted to try the same prduct again because the reviews were so good and I believed I just ended up with a defect. So they sent me another replacement, and this time it was triggered by my voice !!! just as it should. I "barked" into the device, and it triggered the device better (not all the time) than my first one. And it definitely works on my dog.The improvement of my dog is night and day.For users who are wary of shocking their dog, I don't use the shock feature, just beep and vibrate, and it still corrects my GSD. So if you are worried about shock feature, you DO NOT have to use it, which is good since it gives the user an option.

I bought this dual package for my neighbor 4 doors away. They have 3 little dogs and OMG when she let’s them outside it’s a cacophony of barking. I think they just bark bc they want to. My dogs just watch them now. They just bark at anything and everything the entire time they’re in the backyard. Sometimes people don’t hear their beloved pet/s and realize that they’re such a disturbance to others.I just took the dual bark collars down and put it in their mailbox at about midnight. Stealthily, I might add! But, I will say it has been quieter recently. I hope they weren’t too upset with the gift. But, someone was eventually going to call the Dog Police on them and not only would they get a warning for the barking, they’d get a hefty ticket for not having a city dog license. (I don’t know that they did or didn’t have a City License, but I’m sure they didn’t. In this neck of woods unless one has had a complaint, most people don’t do the licensing. It’s expensive and with three dogs??? It’d be enough to not want to pay it yearly!)The collars come in a nice sturdy box and the collars looked real nice sitting inside the box. A great gift for someone. And, a great gift for me too. It seems as though they are using them.Definitely worth the 50$ for a little peace.Actually, I could have used them at my house. I have one dog that tends to be a little barker at times and the collar I have is quite old. I was thinking of buying two sets and keeping one of the collars. I only gifted them two collars and they have three little dogs. But, everything seems to be copacetic for the time being!

our dogs quit barking right away. just the beep and vibration was enough we didn't need to use the shock mode. they've only had them a week and even with the collars off they have stopped
